Today is going to be a day of rest and relaxation for me. Of course, I'm going to do a little housework here and there, but I don't think I will be doing anything major. Last week was VBS for my children and we were going non-stop, even this past weekend. Don't get me wrong we had fun and enjoy every minute of it. Sometimes, I think you have to take a mini-break from all the craziness I call fun.

So I pray everyone have a "Happy Monday" and have a bless week!!

Monday's Graphic(s)

Photobucket

As of yesterday, it's officially summertime.
So, I added a few graphics for summertime as well.
I pray that everyone will have a fun-filled
and joyous summer. Also, I pray that we enjoy
every bit of it spending more time with our family,
getting closer to God, making new friendships,
achieiving goals (if you set any), and just having
the time of our lives. I pray for traveling mercies
as many of us will traveling a lot this summer.
And any trap that the devil may have try to set to hinder
our great summer in anyway, I come against it
in the mighty name of Jesus.

"Because you have made the LORD, who is my refuge,
Even the Most High, your dwelling place,
No evil shall befall you,
Nor shall any plague come near your dwelling;
For He shall give His angels charge over you,
To keep you in all your ways.
In their hands they shall bear you up,
Lest you dash your foot against a stone." (Psalm 91:9-12)

Happy Summertime!! In Jesus' Name I pray......Amen.

Father's Day Prayer

Lord, please bless our fathers,
these men who mean so much to us,
who are greatly responsible
for who we are and who we are becoming.

Bless them for having the courage
to do what's necessary to keep us out of trouble,
for making us do the right thing,
for helping us build our character,
even when it makes us angry;
and bless them for pushing us to do our best,
even when they just want to love us.

Bless our fathers for being our protectors,
for leading us through stormy times to safety,
for making us believe that everything will be all right
and for making it so.

Bless our fathers for quietly making a living
to provide for those they love most,
for giving us food, clothing, shelter
and the other material things that really matter,
for unselfishly investing time and money in us
that they could have spent on themselves.

Bless our fathers, Lord,
for saving some energy for fun,
for leading us on adventures
to explore the outer reaches of ourselves,
for making us laugh,
for being our playmates and our friends.

Bless them for being our secure foundation, our rock,
for holding on tight to us...until it's time to let us go.
Lord, bless these men we look up to,
our role models, our heroes,
our fathers.

In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.

Word-Filled Wednesday ~ Matthew 24:31 & Matthew 25:31

Photobucket

"And He will send His angels with a great
sound of a trumpet, and they will gather together His
elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other."
(Matthew 24:31)

"When the Son of Man comes in His glory,
and all the holy angels with Him, then
He will sit on the throne of His glory."
(Matthew 25:31)

Can you imagine angels worship time with the Most High God and with His Son, Jesus sitting on the right-hand? Phenomenal and extraordinary probably do not remotely come close to how their time spent with God is. Worshipping God here on earth, whether it's in the privacy of our homes or with the ones we love at church, is a beautiful and life changing experience. But just imagine having front row seats, where God and all His glory is only a few feet or steps away from you, while you bast in His presence.

That's what I think when I look at the image above. I just wanted to share. I pray all will be bless on this glorious Word-Filled Wednesday.

Scripture Sunday ~ Matthew 7:13-14

Photobucket

"Enter by the narrow gate; for wide [is] the gate and broad [is] the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow [is] the gate and difficult [is] the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it."
(Matthew 7:13-14)

"You can enter God's Kingdom only through the narrow gate. The highway to hell is broad, and its gate is wide for the many who choose the easy way. But the gateway to life is small, and the road is narrow, and only a few ever find it." (NLT)

"Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it." (NIV)

"Enter through the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and spacious and broad is the way that leads away to destruction, and many are those who are entering through it.
But the gate is narrow (contracted [a]by pressure) and the way is straitened and compressed that leads away to life, and few are those who find it." (AMP)

"Don't look for shortcuts to God. The market is flooded with surefire, easygoing formulas for a successful life that can be practiced in your spare time. Don't fall for that stuff, even though crowds of people do. The way to life—to God!—is vigorous and requires total attention." (MSG)

With God, it's either all or nothing. God does not want half our hearts. He wants and requires 100%. God gave His one and only Son so that we can live a life in abundance and in freedom. And all He wants from us is a relationship with Him.

God desires for us to have eternal life. To acquire eternal life, you have to be willing to see it through without wavering in your faith. There are no shortcuts to God, no special cliff notes, or no cheatsheets for that matter. Please keep in mind that this is not like Burger King, "Your way, right away, now." It's not an instant satisfication, but a delay one.

Please do not be ignorant to satan's devices. Do not think you can go pass God's plan and journey for you achieving eternal life. It's not going to happen. God has already predestined, pre-plan, and prepared a different road map for each one of us. But our destinatiion is the same.......eternal life.

With all this being said, take the time to know God by getting in His Word, spending some time with Him praying/communicating, and praising and worshipping Him daily. Ask God what He requires of you. So that, if you haven't already, begin this glorious journey on this narrow road (which will be very bumpy, full of potholes, unpaved, and rough) and through the narrow gate. It's not going to be easy nor a quick trip. But all in all God is with you every step of the way, with Jesus cheering and interceding for you on the right side of His father, and the power of the Holy Spirit guiding, helping, and comforting you.

Just to think, when you perserve and endure the narrow road, pressing through the narrow gate in order to get to your final destination. You will hear those beautiful words, "Well done my good and faithful servant."

"Then the King will say to those at His right hand, Come, you blessed of My Father [you favored of God and appointed to eternal salvation], inherit (receive as your own) the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world."
(Matthew 25:34 - AMP)

Have a bless week!!
