Thankful for Inspirational ~ Philippians 4:13

Even though Thanksgiving Holiday has come and gone, that doesn't mean giving thanks should cease. With that being said, I am thankful for stories of inspiration; stories where people have turned nothing into something only because they never gave up on their dreams. Despite all the obstacles they faced or having barely to no money in their bank account, they perserved into victory.

Inspirational stories give you hope, empower you, and the strength to not give up on what you want in life. Sometimes you will be surprise what someone has gone through to reach the level of success they have. Many people (myself included) tend to look at the finish product. But when I hear or read about their testimonies, I see them from a different perspective.

With this being said, whatever desire you have whether it's to own your own business, write books, go back to school, or etc., find real life stories in the bible or internet, read them and get inspired. There is nothing too hard for God to do in and through you.

"I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." (Philippians 4:13)

Thankful for a "Little Pick-Me Up" ~ Habakkuk 3:17-19

I am thankful for everytime I am feeling down I can use God's Word as a pick-me up. There will be days where you may not feel as cheery as you would normally; Or where you may feel a bit heaviness in your spirit. Whatever the case may be, you know when you are not having a good day. But it's okay. The most important thing is that whatever or whomever may have you feeling down in the dumps, you don't have to allow it to keep you down.

Use God's word as a "pick-me up". There are many, many, many scriptures/passages in the bible that can bring joy, peace, and an upliftment in your spirit. For example this passage definitely helps me, when I am feeling down.

"Though the fig tree may not blossom, Nor fruit be on the vines; Though the labor of the olive may fail, And the fields yield no food; Though the flock may be cut off from the fold, And there be no herd in the stalls-- Yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will joy in the God of my salvation. The LORD God is my strength; He will make my feet like deer's feet, And He will make me walk on my high hills." (Habakkuk 3:17-19)

How about this......

I will extol You, O LORD, for You have lifted me up, And have not let my foes rejoice over me. O LORD my God, I cried out to You, And You healed me. O LORD, You brought my soul up from the grave; You have kept me alive, that I should not go down to the pit. Sing praise to the LORD, you saints of His, And give thanks at the remembrance of His holy name. For His anger is but for a moment, His favor is for life; Weeping may endure for a night, But joy comes in the morning."                  (Psalm 30:1-5)

God's word is a guarantee that troubles don't last always. So, whenever you need a pick-me up, refer to God's Word and let it minister to you spiritually and emotionally.

Heavenly Father I thank you in the name of Jesus for Your Word. It is a lifter of my spirit when I need it most. It's because of Your Word that I know without a shadow of doubt that troubles don't last always. Amen.

Thankful for Having a Vision ~ Habakkuk 2:2

I am thankful for God imprinting a vision on my heart. Having a vision gives me a sense of purpose. It also gives my a goal, which in my mind means to have a destination. Every time I think and ponder about the impossible being possible, I feel so good in my spirit.

It can be very scary at times, knowing that God has birth a vision in your spirit because you might even think, "Ummm, God are you sure about this." Nonetheless, God sees more than enough potential in us than we can ever imagine. With that being said, God knows that if just take heed to His instructions, His word, and His guidance, He will give you all the tools and people you need to help transform your vision from being abstract to concrete, so that He can receive all the glory, all the honor, and all the worship in the name of His Son, Jesus.

And for that reason, I am more thankful for having a vision. I have wrote my vision out so that it is always before me. I encourage you to do the same. Write your vision. Make plain and easy to understand.

Then the LORD answered me and said: "Write the vision And make [it] plain on tablets, That he may run who reads it." (Habakkuk 2:2)

Thankful for Joy ~ Nehemiah 8:10

I am thankful for joy. This is where I get my strength from according to God's word. "Do not sorrow, for the joy of the LORD is your strength," (Nehemiah 8:10). The joy that comes from God.....the world, the devil, or anyone for that matter cannot steal it. They can very well try in hopes that you will coward down and give it to them without a fight.

But little do your enemies know, that you are not the one to coward down because you are more than a conqueror in Christ Jesus. You will hold to your joy with all your might because despite of your current situation "weeping may endure for a night, But joy comes in the morning,"
(Psalm 30:5).

 "Yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will joy in the God of my salvation." (Habakkuk 3:18)

Thank you God for the JOY that gives me strength in the name of Jesus.

Thankful for Veterans ~ Psalm 91:11

I am thankful for veterans. I am thankful for God sending soldiers to protect our country and fight for our freedom. I am thankful for the soldiers' families who maintain the balance in their loved one's absence.

I salute all soldiers in the name of Jesus. I pray that God that will continue to protect them by the power of the blood and in the name of Jesus.

To keep you in all your ways."

Thankful for a Great God ~ Psalm 95:1-3

I am thankful for God being a great God, an awesome God. There is none (not one person) like Him. He is greater than our circumstances. He is greater than what seem to us at times our impossibilities. I am thankful that I serve a true, mighty and living God.

God is so great that He can do the exceedingly, abundantly above all we can ever ask or think. Because I serve a great God, I can sing and shout joyfully unto to Him for mighty works. Hallelujah and Amen!!

Blessing to you as you read Psalm 95:1-3.

Psalm 95:1-3
Oh come, let us sing to the LORD!
Let us shout joyfully to the Rock of our salvation.

Let us come before His presence with thanksgiving;
Let us shout joyfully to Him with psalms.

For the LORD is the great God,
And the great King above all gods.

A Psalm of Thanksgiving

In about two weeks, if not less than that, we will be celebrating Thanksgiving. Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays. I love the idea of preparing a gourmet for my family and giving God thanks to all the blessings He has bestow upon us as well as all the blessings we will receive in the near future.

However, it is very important that we don't wait 11 months and some change to give God thanks for all He has done. It should be done on a daily basis, more like part of our livestyle. Having said that, I thought this will be great opportunity to share with you Psalm 100, the Psalm of Thanksgiving.

As we read Psalm 100, I pray that it will be a blessing to you.

Psalm 100
A Psalm of Thanksgiving.

Make a joyful shout to the LORD, all you lands!
Serve the LORD with gladness;
Come before His presence with singing.
Know that the LORD, He is God;
It is He who has made us, and not we ourselves;
We are His people and the sheep of His pasture.
Enter into His gates with thanksgiving,
And into His courts with praise.
Be thankful to Him, and bless His name.
For the LORD is good; His mercy is everlasting,
And His truth endures to all generations.
