Feel Free Friday ~ Count Your Blessings!!

Happy Friday!!! I think everybody is ready for the weekend!! Let's get right to it. For this Feel Free Friday, I want you to feel free to count your blessings. Regardless of what's going on or how hectic your schedule may be, take time to smell the roses. Focus on all the great things that God has done for you. It's a great way to put your joy in to action.

When all else seem to fail, don't be discouraged. COUNT YOUR BLESSINGS so that you can see and remember what God has done!!

Feel Free Friday ~ Ask Him For Help

TGIF, everybody!!! I know so many of you are pratically doing cartwheels because you are so glad that it is Friday!! Well, I know you are ready to get your weekend started so I won't take too much of your time.



If you are joining us for the first time, our theme is based on John 16:13-15. It's such a blessing to have the Holy Spirit living on the inside of us. As I stated, in previous posts from this week, I talked about the Holy Spirit being our Helper. So, for today's Feel Free Friday, I want you to feel free to ask the Holy Spirit to help you.

If you need help with building more of an intimate relationship with God, ask Him. If you need help with your finances, ask Him. If you need help in your marriage, ask Him. If you need help in parenting, ask Him. Even if you need help in school, ask Him. Jesus did not go away for anything. He went away so that the Holy Spirit can come to help and teach us all things.




Do not be afraid to ask for help. "...Where do our help come from? Our help comes from the LORD, Who made heaven and earth," (Psalm 121:1-2).  And there is nothing our God cannot handle when it comes to helping us. So, I say it again....ASK HIM for help.

Feel Free Friday ~ Hold On To God's Love

Aren't you glad it's Friday?? First, give yourself a pat on the back for making it through the week. Thank you Lord for your strength and mercy that carried us through each day, everyday. It's a blessing to serve a God who loves us so much that He gave us angels to watch over us every step of the way.




Speaking of God's Love, for today's Feel Free Friday, I want you to feel free to hold on to God's love with every fiber of your being. There is nothing that you can do or say to make God love you any less. God would never take His love from His precious sons and daughters. The only person that can block God's Love from dwelling in your heart is you.




Promise yourself this day that no matter how difficult or gut-wrenching a situation may be, you will not separate yourself from the love of our Heavenly Father. Instead, promise yourself that you will hold on to God's everlasting, unconditional, heart-warming love. I thank Jesus for providing us with a way to share in this glorious love. So, hold on and don't separate yourself from God's love. Have a blessed weekend!!

Feel Free Friday ~ Praise God for What You Have Now

Besides Sunday, I think Friday is one my favorite day of the week!! Friday is the beginning of either a fun, relaxing, or exciting weekend. Whatever the case may be, it's your weekend so take it all in and enjoy every minute of it. For Feel Free Friday, I want you to feel free to praise and thank Jesus for having good health and prosperity.


Even if you are not as healthy and/or as propserous as you would like to be, confess them into existence by faith and in the name of Jesus. We are to appreciate what we HAVE....not whine and complain about what we HAVE NOT. Count it all joy from the smallest to biggest blessings because there are more to come. The blessings of God are never ending.

Feel Free Friday ~ Make a Joyful Shout.....

Happy Friday!! Woo Whoo!! You made it through another week....again!! For this Feel Free Friday, I want you to feel free to do as Psalms 100:1-2 commands....




"Make a joyful shout
to the Lord,
all you lands!
Serve the Lord
with gladness;
Come before His
presence with singing."


Shout, Serve, and Sing in the name of Jesus!! God inhabits the praises of His people. When you decide to make an executive decision to stand on Psalms 100:1-2, God will open up a window and pour you out a blessing. Don't just stand on it, live it!!  Make this scripture part of your lifestyle.  There is freedom, joy, healing, etc., when you "Make a joyful shout to the Lord, Serve the Lord with gladness; And Come before His presence with singing."

Feel Free Friday ~ You're Worth It!

Feel Free Fridays seem to roll around like hot cakes!! Crazy, right?!? Be that as it may, the show must go on. For today's Feel Free Friday, I want you to feel free to believe and realize that YOU ARE WORTH IT!! You are worth God's grace. You are worth God's mercy. And you are worth God sacrificing His Son so that you won't die, but live in the name of Jesus and for His glory.




When the devil tries to get inside your head to make you think that you are worthless, you tell him with every ounce of authority you have in the name of Jesus that you are worth it. In addition to that, you rebuke the devil and inform him that you refuse to listen to his lies and that he is under your feet. Remember God's word, "....Resist the devil and he will flee from you," (James 4:7).





Once again, you are free to feel like YOU ARE WORTH IT, because guess what? YOU ARE!! Happy Friday!! =D

Feel Free Friday ~ Tap Right On In!!

I love the idea of feeling free and being free in the name of Jesus. And it is because of Jesus shedding His blood and dying on the cross for our sins, that we are able to tap into the empowering of God's spirit. We need His power to make things happen and to accomplish great things for His glory.



Today's Feel Free Friday is about tapping into the power of the Holy Spirit. With this power you can say with boldness and with confidence...."I can do ALL things through CHRIST who strengthens me," (Philippians 4:13). With the empowering of God's Spirit, the IMPOSSIBLE becomes POSSIBLE in the name of Jesus.



So, I encourage you to "Tap Right On In" to the Holy Spirit's power. Your money can't do it. Your natural strength can't do it. But God's Spirit......CAN do all and everything!! Hallelujah and Amen!!

Feel Free Friday ~ BELIEVE who you are in Jesus

Well, you made it to Friday!! Hallelujah....Whoop whoop!! If you had one of those weeks where wish that Calgon would just take you away, well I pray and hope next week will be better.



Today's Feel Free Friday is short and sweet. And that is, Feel Free to BELIEVE!! Believe who God said you are in Christ Jesus. Believe that He called you by name. BELIEVE that He hand-picked you to be part of a chosen generation. BELIEVE that you are royalty.....a royal priesthood.



BELIEVE that you are a member of a holy nation. BELIEVE you are special to Him. And BELIEVE you are fearfully and wonderfully made. God doesn't make mistakes. Therefore, Him choosing you to partake in the blessings of His Heavenly Kingdom...is not!!

Feel Free Friday ~ Enjoy Your Weekend!! :)

I love Fridays!! Don't you?? I am excited about for today's post. Feel Free Friday is about feeling free to Enjoy Your Weekend!!  Yep, you heard me!!  Enjoy Your Weekend!! This whole week we talked about Lamentations 3:24-25. One of the key points is putting your hope in God and waiting patiently on Him to deliver. While you are doing that, it doesn't mean that you should waddled in self pity or not enjoy life, but 100% of the opposite.




If you truly put all your hope in God, you can have joy in the Lord. The bible says, "The joy of the Lord is your strength," (Nehemiah 8:10 ). And it's that same strength you can use to wait patiently on the Lord and to feel free to enjoy your weekend!! Amen and Amen!!




As I bid you adieu, if you haven't already, make some fun and awesome plans for the weekend or just plain ol' relax. Bottomline is don't fret and don't stress just enjoy your weekend because God has it all under control in the name of Jesus!! So, Have a blessed weekend and ENJOY!!

Feel Free Friday ~ Stand and Proclaim

Feel Free Friday is about celebrating the freedom we have in Jesus. We are free to dance, to have fun, to worship Him, and to praise His Holy Name. We are also free to STAND and PROCLAIM. And that is what I want you to do. I want you to feel free to STAND on God's Word. Through Jesus, we are able to STAND because He is the ROCK.


As Christians, we should always feel free to PROCLAIM that He is the ROCK of ages, the ROCK of salvation, and the solid ROCK on which we STAND. Hallelujah and Amen!!! =D


Once again feel free to stand. Don't just stand. STAND FIRM!!




"For now we live,
if you stand fast in the Lord,"
(1 Thessalonians 3:8)

In the midst of you taking a stand, PROCLAIM. In the name of Jesus, Proclaim that the Lord lives and He is the ROCK of our salvation!!! And He is the firm foundation on which we STAND!!









“The Lord lives!
Blessed be my Rock!
Let God be exalted,
The Rock of my salvation!"
(2 Samuel 22:47)

Feel Free Friday ~ Try Something New

It's Friday....Friday....Friday!! Woo Whoo!! I love Fridays!! Don't you?? This week theme is based on Psalms 51:10, which is about God creating you a clean heart. In my Manic Monday post from this week, I mentioned that the word create also means to fashion anew. And that is exactly what I want you to feel free to do. I want you to feel free to try something new or find something you really enjoy doing, but haven't done in a long time.



I'm not sure how the weather is in your neck of the woods, but in SC it is somewhat hot. The weather for this weekend will fall between 100 - 105 degrees; And that is not including the heat index. YIKES!! However, I am not going to let the weather stop from having a good time this weekend; An you shouldn't either.

If you not quite sure of what you should do, I have a few suggestions.

A Picnic - Pick a nice shady, comfortable area; where you can relax and take in the scenery around you. Don't forget to pacy your favorite sweet treats. There's nothing wrong with indulging...a little bit.


Bike Riding - Not only it's great exercise, it's a great way to relieve stress. Besides, you will probably be so focus on how much your legs are hurting that you won't have the time to think about anything else.


Go to the beach - The best time to go the beach (in my opinion) is early in the morning or late in the evening around 6 pm, especially when the sun is about to set. If you are not a beach person but loves the water, take a swim in the pool. If you don't have a pool of your own, try going to a public pool in your community.

A nature walk - There is nothin like a nice brisk walk. You don't have to power walk, just stroll along and take in the ambiance around you. Take the time to stop a smell the flowers, look up at the beautiful sky every now then, and listen to the birds sing.

Now if you are not exactly an outside person or if the weather won't permit you to go outside, you can still have just as much fun on the inside. For instance, you can play video games with the family. Nowadays, they make video games so that adults and even the whole family can enjoy. You can even watch your favorite DVD movie, make special snacks with your children, or even play charades.

Whatever it is, just find something new and fun to do. With a new and clean heart created by God, you should start having a new leash on life. Enjoy your weekend!!
