Wisdom Word Wednesday ~ Integrity

rocks2

Happy Hump Day!! We are continuing our theme based on Luke 16:10. Being faithful in the work that God has given you, can demonstrate your integrity in Christ Jesus.

According to Dictionary.com, integrity is defined as being adherence to moral and ethical principles; soundness of moral character; honesty. This can also mean that you are not willing to compromise who you are in Christ, which one of those characteristics being faithful.

When you hear some stories of different CEOs of multi-million dollar companies, you will realize that they didn't achieve their high-class position overnight. Some of them may have started off in the mailroom; While others may have started as an intern. The point is that they had to start somewhere and remain faithful over little things. In addition to that, being responsible over small things prepared and taught them how to be responsible over much bigger and better things, such as a multi-million dollar company.

So, please be wise to show that you have integrity by being faithful, being responsible in every work, gift, talent that God has given you, whether big or small. I will conclude with this note....

"The wise gifts and abilities entrusted to us results in greater opportunities, while their neglect results not only in the loss of more opportunities, but of that which was entrusted to us." ~ The New Spirit-Filled Bible

Tuesday's Prayer ~ Great Is Thy Faithfulness

praying silhoutte 1

My Dearest Heavenly Father,

Thank you for Your faithfulness. Thank you for believing in me before I believed in myself. I, also, thank you for never giving up on me. Great is Your Faithfulness, Oh Lord.

My prayer today is that I become faithful in every single thing you have blessed me with, no matter how big or small. I pray that I will be faithful in every work you will entrust in my hands, in every gift, every talent, as well as my relationship with people. To be like your precious Son Jesus, is to be faithful in You.

I stand on the word spoken in Luke 16:10, "He who is faithful in what is least is faithful also in much;..."; And I know if I remain faithful, one day I will hear, "...Well done, good and faithful servant; you were faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord," (Matthew 25:21). I praise and bless Your Holy Name through Your Son, Jesus....Amen!

Manic Monday ~ Faithfulness

manic monday

This week's theme is based on Luke 16:10. The main focus is on faithfulness. Many of us, including me, sometimes have a hard time committing to a task until it's finished. For some, it's no problem because all you have to do is give them a list; And they most likely will not rest until everything is crossed off.

When I often begin a project, my prayer to God is that I remain faithful to complete the task at hand. I, also, pray that I don't get caught up in the "not feeling like doing anything" mode or that I don't quit if or when things become tedious or too hard.

Faithfulness is a Christlike attribute. We must make a strong effort to exercise, when given the opportunity to do so. In my Spirit-Filled Study Bible, faithfulness is described as a prerequisite to promotion, a reliability in right management of resources, and the goal of our accountability as servants of Christ. No one is promoted unless they have done the work and remained faithful, while doing it.

In order to get promoted in the kingdom of God, we must remain faithful over the little things. God cannot increase in our lives, if we are not faithful. With great works, comes great responsiblities in the name of Jesus. Are you ready?!?
