Selah Sunday Introduction

Selah Sunday is about taking a moment to rest or to pause (mind, body, and soul).  Sunday seems to be the designated day to pray, meditate, breathe, and to be still in the name of Jesus.  Selah Sunday encourages you to rest knowing that you have the victory over your enemies, obstacles, trials, tribulations, and anything else that tries to steal your joy in Christ Jesus.

When you rest, you are allowing yourself to be strengthened through the power of God's word, to prepare for the week that lies ahead, and to take full advantage of what I like to call ReCovery Benefits.

ReCovery Benefits:   ReNew; ReCharge; ReFresh; ReFuel; ReStore; ReSet

         A. ReNew your mind
         B. ReCharge your body
         C. ReFresh  your soul
         D. ReFuel your passion
         E. ReStore what you thought was lost (joy, peace, love, hope, faith, self-confidence, etc.)
         F.  ReSet yourself so that you won't get stuck in a rut

For every action, there is a reaction.  Before recovery can take place, you must take these Re-Action Steps.
                 1. Review - Review your past week; your wins, disappointments, things you were grateful                                           for, etc.

                 2. Reflect - Meditate; change any negative to positive; become at peace with the past week                                        because it's in the past

                 3. Replenish - Get your mind ready for a new week; fill up on joy, love, peace, faith, and                                            all those other things that make you feel good and put a smile on your face

                 4. Rejoice - Worship, praise, lift up His holy name, and rejoice in the faithfulness of God

Remember, you cannot change the past.  You cannot change what happen last week. If anything, keep moving forward.  Review, Reflect, Replenish, and to keep it moving.  Tomorrow is a new day.  Monday kicks off a new week.

Sleep in Peace!! Wake in Joy!!
