Sunday's Scripture Reading ~ Zechariah 4:6

Happy 1st Sunday in August!! Time is ticking away and soon my children will be back in school, August 20th to be exact. My next two weeks maybe a bit hectic. But, it's all good. I just have to get 'er done. :)



As some of you may know, a new week means a new scripture to set the tone for my blog theme this week. Sunday's Scripture Reading and this week theme is Zechariah 4:6.



".......'Not by might nor by power,
but by My Spirit,’
Says the Lord of hosts."
(Zechariah 4:6)



I love this scripture because it tells me that no matter how much money you have or how big and bad you may think you are, you can't do anything without the empowering of the Spirit of God. It is by the power of the Holy Spirit, through the blood and in the name of Jesus that we are able to do anything.




When we tap into the power of God, we can overcome any obstacle that may come our way. We can use the empowering of God's word to speak mountains out of our way and claim victory over the enemy in the name of Jesus. Hallelujah!! So, let's use this week as an opportunity to tap into the empowering of God's Holy Spirit.  Won't you join me??
