Some people (including me) refers to Wednesday as "Hump Day." However, I think it should be referred to as "Mountain Day." Climbing a hump is nothing compare to climbing a mountain, especially if we are talking about Mt. Everest. Sometimes, you have one those weeks, where you made it through the first half, but second half of your week is still a doozy. No matter how you look it, your week or weeks were emotionally draining.
With all that being said, today's Wisdom Word Wednesday is prayer. Regardless of our circumstances or how many obstacles we're facing, we must remember to be wise enough to pray. We can activate the power of God through prayer. Your prayers don't have to be fancy or very studious. It can be simple and straight from the heart.
When you have so much going on your life, it's a blessing to communicate to our Heavenly Father for a peace of mind and to pray your mountains away. If you are not sure how to pray, start with the Our Father Prayer in Matthew 6:9-13.
"For your Father knows the things you have need of before you ask Him. 9 In this manner, therefore, pray:
Hallowed be Your name.
Your kingdom come.
Your will be done
On earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our debts,
As we forgive our debtors.
And do not lead us into temptation,
But deliver us from the evil one.
For Yours is the kingdom and the power
and the glory forever. Amen."
