BIBLE READING FOR THE BOOK OF JOHN

 

A new believer in Jesus Christ should start reading the book of John. Here are a few reasons why:

        *Focus on Jesus' Divinity and Humanity: The Gospel of John clearly presents Jesus as both fully divine and fully human, helping new believers understand the nature of Christ.

        *Accessible Language and Structure: John's writing is straightforward and easy to understand, making it accessible for those new to the Bible.

        *Key Themes: John emphasizes key themes such as love, faith, eternal life, and the Holy Spirit, which are foundational for a new believer's understanding of Christian faith.

        *Powerful Miracles and Teachings: The book includes many of Jesus' miracles and profound teachings that demonstrate His power and compassion, strengthening faith.

        *Evangelistic Purpose: John explicitly states his purpose: "These are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing you may have life in His name." (John 20:31). This focus on belief and eternal life is particularly relevant for new Christians.

In addition, starting with John provides a solid foundation for understanding who Jesus is, why He came, and how to begin living a life of faith.
