I love Quench Your Thirst Thursday. It gives me an opportunity to share some great praise and worship music. God always shows me the right song at the right time. That's just how are awesome He is. For this Quench Your Thirst Thursday, we are listening to You Are My Portion, written and sung by Darrell Evans. This week continue to confess that the Lord is your portion. If all else fails, you know that without a shadow of doubt that God is right there and on time. He is our portion, our everything, and we put our hope in Him. For today's Quench Your Thirst Thursday, it's Thy Word sung by the Marantha Singers . This song has been sung and rearranged by various artists, but one thing remains true....Thy Word. It's the same yesterday, today, and forevermore.  God's word changes everything; but nothing can change it. This song is based on Psalm 119. It's definitely a must read. I pray that this song is a blessing to you.       "Your word is a lamp to my feet And a light to my path." (Psalm 119:105)       Here's a bonus video....ENJOY!!

It's Quench Your Thirst Thursday time. There's nothing like being in God's presence. In addition to Jesus being our Rock, He is a thirst quencher. He is the Living Water; And when we drank from Him, we will never have to thirst or get dehydrated in the Spirit. "Jesus answered and said to her, 'Whoever drinks of this water will thirst again, but whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst. But the water that I shall give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up into everlasting life," (John 4:13-14). So, if you are ready to have your thirst quenched in His presence, then please take time to enjoy this praise song called "Rock of Ages (Jesus is the Rock) sung by the Praise Band in the video below. It's a great praise song. Remember, Jesus is the Rock that we can stand on with full assurance that He will not suffer our foot to be moved. Amen and Amen.

I hope everyone had a wonderful and fun-filled 4th of July. Mine? It was great. I really enjoyed spending time with the hubby and children. I think my husband loved the fact that he was able to break in his new gril. Notice the cheesy grin on his face in the picture below. Now for today's Quench Your Thirst Thursday, I came across this song by accident. I was searching for another song and this popped up. I think it was God hinting to me to use it for today's post. It's called Blessings by Laura Story . And this song is exactly that....a blessing. And it is a perfect fit for this week's theme of not being anxious and worrying. On today's Quench Your Thirst Thursday, I chose a traditional type worship song. And I thought it would go great with this week's theme. Normally, I would post the lyrics following the video. However, the lyrics are in the video and very simple. It is "Create In Me A Clean Heart" sung by Keith Green . I pray that this song is a blessing to you. For today's Quench Your Thirst Thursday, I chose "Courageous" by Casting Crowns. Courageous is the title song for the movie....you guessed it.....Courageous. I thought this song goes along with our verse this week, Joshua 1:9, perfectly. This is a great video. And if you haven't seen the movie, yet, I recommend that you do so. Back in 2009, I started a segment called "Quench Your Thirst Thursday." It is about allowing God through the power of the Holy Spirit and in the name of Jesus to quench your thirst. He is the only one who can quench our thirst so that we will never want to thirst again. Please see my very first segment to understand the concept more by clicking here .
