Welcome to another episode of Selah Sunday.  It's hard to relax, release, and refresh when you are feeling stress, sad, distress, or just plain troublesome with a side order of blah because of everything that may be going on in and around your world. As the deer pants for the water brooks, So pants my soul for You, O God.  My soul thirsts for God, for the living God. When shall I come and appear before God?  My tears have been my food day and night, While they continually say to me, “Where is your God?” (Psalm 42:1-3) Psalm 42 is about yearning and thirsting for God in the midst of your troubles.  This Psalm encourages its readers to meditate on God's kindness and His love, when they are feeling lonely, defeated, or distressed. Selah Sunday ~ Psalm 4:3-5

Welcome to another episode of Selah Sunday!  In this post, we are going to focus on Psalm 4:3-5. You can be sure of this:     The Lord set apart the godly for himself.     The Lord will answer when I call to him. Don’t sin by letting anger control you.     Think about it overnight and remain silent. Selah Offer sacrifices in the right spirit,     and trust the Lord. (Psalm 4:3-5) Special Note:   We can be confident that God listens to our prayers and answers when we call on Him.  Sometimes, we think that God will not hear us because we have fallen short of Godly living.  But if you put your trust in the Lord, He will listen and forgives us.  He hears and answers, although His answers may not be what you expect.  (The Life Application Bible) Special Note: Do not speak out of anger.  Take time to think, lie down, be still, and righteously reflect on the situation.  Put your trust in God. Selah Sunday ~ Psalm 46

Welcome to another episode of Selah Sunday!  In this post, we are going to focus on Psalm 46.  The theme for Psalm 46 is "God is always there to help, providing refuge, security, and peace.  God's power is complete and His ultimate victory is certain.  He will not fail to rescue those who love Him'  (The Life Application Bible). "God is our refuge and strength,  A very present help  in trouble.  Therefore we will not fear, Even though the  earth be removed, and though the mountains are carried into  the midst of the sea;  Though its waters roar and are troubled,   Though the mountains shake with its swelling.  Selah ."
