Welcome to another episode of Wonderful Word Wednesday.  Our word of the week is countenance. According to the Webster dictionary, countenance means mental composure, calm, expression, moral support; bearing or expression that offers approval or sanction [influence (as of conscience) that impels to moral action] "Why are you cast down, O my soul? Below this is a picture my little girl, Ketirah, (at this time she was 6) drew a picture in church on the white board. It's a picture of Jesus hugging her. How can you not love that?? Even at such a young age, she knew who Jesus is and that He is always there giving out hugs.  Not only that, Ketirah doesn't see Jesus as little person, but someone who is bigger than her. "But Jesus called them to Him and said, " Let the little children come to Me , and do not forbid them;  for of such is the kingdom of God." We should not be singing the same old song. It's time to allow God to put a new song in your mouth. Not only would those who don't understand how awesome God is fear it, but the devil himself would quaking in his boots. He knows once you grab hold of your new song God has birth in your heart, you will become a dangerously contagious Christian. And there won't no stopping you. People would draw near to you. Then those same people are going to want to know how can they get them a new song and sing it!! Bottomline, God's new song for you will go multi-platinum and spread worldwide!!! "Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God;" (Philippians 4:6) I am thankful that I don't have to worry or be anxious for anything.
