There is something incredibly powerful about being known completely and still being fully loved. In a world that often places value on appearance, perfection, and performance, the lyrics to "Just As I Am"  reminds us that God sees us in all our imperfections and still opens His arms wide with grace. It's about a love that sees everything and still invites you in, into His presence and His Family. “But God demonstrates His own love toward us,  in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” (Romans 5:8) "Just as I am, with all my imperfections, You draw me close and offer strength in weakness." The Lord tells Paul in 2 Corinthians 12:9,  “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” God isn’t waiting for us to have it all together. Give Thanks Day 25 - Day 29 ~ 5 in 1 (Part 2)

This is part 2 of my 5 in 1 post of my 30 Day Give Thanks Challenge. Part 1 has Day 20 - Day 24. So, this post will cover Day 25 - Day 29. Then I will be caught up. Let's get started. Shall we?!? I'm going to share five of my favorite scriptures that I am thankful for. I have to read them from time to time, when I need to recollect myself and gain some perspective sort of speak. Day 25 - I am thankful for Matthew 6:25. Sometimes I tend to worry more often than I should. But when I read Matthew 6:25, it gives me the reassurance that God knows very well what we need; And that we should not worry because He got us cover.   "Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. A New You.........Straight Ahead

Although I am excited about the new year, a new attitude, a new walk, a new talk and becoming a new creature in Christ, I do know that it's not going to be easy. But, by faith, I know God will guide, instruct, and direct me along the way. In addition to that, I know this "new me" won't happen with a wave of a magic wand and a few choice words.....Bibiddy Bobbadi Boo....Shazam......Abracadabra...(I think you get the picture.) I am, however, I am going to hold fast the confession of my hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful (Hebrews 10:23). And I will trust in the LORD with all my heart, And lean not on my own understanding; In all my ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct my paths (Proverb 3:5-6).
