It's Quench Your Thirst Thursday time!! This week we have been talking about the Holy Spirit from John 16:13-15. Jesus went away so that we can have a Helper, a Comforter, a Counselor. God knew that the law alone would not be enough to sustain our relationship with Him. We needed power above all powers to guide and lead us in the way He would have us to go. And for that, I thank God in the name of Jesus. Are you ready to quench your thirst? Are you tired of being spiritually dehydrated? Welcome to another edition of Quench Your Thirst Thursday!! During the summer season, it is very important that we drink plenty of fluids (mainly water) in order to stay hydrated. When it gets too hot, you risk suffering from dehydration, if you are not careful. The same thing applies to us spiritually. When circumstances and/or challenges begin to heat up in our lives, we must remember to turn to our Heavenly Father for a spiritual drink. We must not risk dehydration because of pride or stubborness. Jesus is the living water. If you drink from His well, you will never thirst again. It's the same yesterday, today, and forevermore.  God's word changes everything; but nothing can change it. This song is based on Psalm 119. It's definitely a must read. It's Quench Your Thirst Thursday time. There's nothing like being in God's presence. In addition to Jesus being our Rock, He is a thirst quencher. He is the Living Water; And when we drank from Him, we will never have to thirst or get dehydrated in the Spirit. "Jesus answered and said to her, 'Whoever drinks of this water will thirst again, but whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst. But the water that I shall give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up into everlasting life," (John 4:13-14). I hope everyone had a wonderful and fun-filled 4th of July. Mine? It was great. I really enjoyed spending time with the hubby and children. Back in 2009, I started a segment called "Quench Your Thirst Thursday." It is about allowing God through the power of the Holy Spirit and in the name of Jesus to quench your thirst.
