Welcome to the first Manic Monday of July 2012!! Woo whoo!!! I can't wait to get started. Once again, our verse of the week is Philippians 4:6-7, "Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus." Today, we are going to focus on three words, instead of one. They are anxious, supplication, and guard. anxious - (Greek word - merimnao;#3309) ~ a distraction, a preoccupation with things causing anxiety, stress, and pressure Jesus doesn't want us to worry or be anxious about anything because He knows our heavenly Father is more than able of taking care of our needs. This has been my first time in a long time that I posted for one straight week. For me, it's a huge deal because one of the things I would like to be is consistent.
