Thankful for Inspirational ~ Philippians 4:13

Image
Even though Thanksgiving Holiday has come and gone, that doesn't mean giving thanks should cease. With that being said, I am thankful for stories of inspiration; stories where people have turned nothing into something only because they never gave up on their dreams. Despite all the obstacles they faced or having barely to no money in their bank account, they perserved into victory. Inspirational stories give you hope, empower you, and the strength to not give up on what you want in life. Sometimes you will be surprise what someone has gone through to reach the level of success they have. Many people (myself included) tend to look at the finish product. But when I hear or read about their testimonies, I see them from a different perspective. With this being said, whatever desire you have whether it's to own your own business, write books, go back to school, or etc., find real life stories in the bible or internet, read them and get inspired. There is nothing too hard fo...

Thankful for a "Little Pick-Me Up" ~ Habakkuk 3:17-19

Image
I am thankful for everytime I am feeling down I can use God's Word as a pick-me up. There will be days where you may not feel as cheery as you would normally; Or where you may feel a bit heaviness in your spirit. Whatever the case may be, you know when you are not having a good day. But it's okay. The most important thing is that whatever or whomever may have you feeling down in the dumps, you don't have to allow it to keep you down. Use God's word as a "pick-me up". There are many, many, many scriptures/passages in the bible that can bring joy, peace, and an upliftment in your spirit. For example this passage definitely helps me, when I am feeling down. "Though the fig tree may not blossom, Nor fruit be on the vines; Though the labor of the olive may fail, And the fields yield no food; Though the flock may be cut off from the fold, And there be no herd in the stalls-- Yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will joy in the God of my salvation. Thankful for Having a Vision ~ Habakkuk 2:2

Image
I am thankful for God imprinting a vision on my heart. Having a vision gives me a sense of purpose. It also gives my a goal, which in my mind means to have a destination. Every time I think and ponder about the impossible being possible, I feel so good in my spirit. It can be very scary at times, knowing that God has birth a vision in your spirit because you might even think, "Ummm, God are you sure about this." Nonetheless, God sees more than enough potential in us than we can ever imagine. With that being said, God knows that if just take heed to His instructions, His word, and His guidance, He will give you all the tools and people you need to help transform your vision from being abstract to concrete, so that He can receive all the glory, all the honor, and all the worship in the name of His Son, Jesus. And for that reason, I am more thankful for having a vision. I have wrote my vision out so that it is always before me. I encourage you to do the same. Write y...

Thankful for Joy ~ Nehemiah 8:10

Image
I am thankful for joy. This is where I get my strength from according to God's word. "Do not sorrow, for the joy of the LORD is your strength," (Nehemiah 8:10). The joy that comes from God.....the world, the devil, or anyone for that matter cannot steal it. They can very well try in hopes that you will coward down and give it to them without a fight. But little do your enemies know, that you are not the one to coward down because you are more than a conqueror in Christ Jesus. You will hold to your joy with all your might because despite of your current situation "weeping may endure for a night, But joy comes in the morning," (Psalm 30:5).   "Yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will joy in the God of my salvation." (Habakkuk 3:18) Thank you God for the JOY that gives me strength in the name of Jesus.

Thankful for Veterans ~ Psalm 91:11

Image
I am thankful for veterans. I am thankful for God sending soldiers to protect our country and fight for our freedom. I am thankful for the soldiers' families who maintain the balance in their loved one's absence. I salute all soldiers in the name of Jesus. I pray that God that will continue to protect them by the power of the blood and in the name of Jesus. "For He shall give His angels charge over you, To keep you in all your ways." (Psalms 91:11)

Thankful for a Great God ~ Psalm 95:1-3

Image
I am thankful for God being a great God, an awesome God. There is none (not one person) like Him. He is greater than our circumstances. He is greater than what seem to us at times our impossibilities. I am thankful that I serve a true, mighty and living God. God is so great that He can do the exceedingly, abundantly above all we can ever ask or think. Because I serve a great God, I can sing and shout joyfully unto to Him for mighty works. Hallelujah and Amen!! Blessing to you as you read Psalm 95:1-3. Psalm 95:1-3 Oh come, let us sing to the LORD! Let us shout joyfully to the Rock of our salvation. Let us come before His presence with thanksgiving; Let us shout joyfully to Him with psalms. For the LORD is the great God, And the great King above all gods.

A Psalm of Thanksgiving

Image
In about two weeks, if not less than that, we will be celebrating Thanksgiving. Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays. I love the idea of preparing a gourmet for my family and giving God thanks to all the blessings He has bestow upon us as well as all the blessings we will receive in the near future. However, it is very important that we don't wait 11 months and some change to give God thanks for all He has done. It should be done on a daily basis, more like part of our livestyle. Having said that, I thought this will be great opportunity to share with you Psalm 100, the Psalm of Thanksgiving. As we read Psalm 100, I pray that it will be a blessing to you. Psalm 100 A Psalm of Thanksgiving. Make a joyful shout to the LORD, all you lands! Serve the LORD with gladness; Come before His presence with singing. Know that the LORD, He is God; It is He who has made us, and not we ourselves; We are His people and the sheep of His pasture. Enter into His gates with thanksgi...

Thanksgiving Post #15 and Thankful Thursday

Image
"But thanks be to God, Who gives us the victory [making us conquerors] through our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, my beloved brethren, be firm (steadfast), immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord [always being superior, excelling, doing more than enough in the service of the Lord], knowing and being continually aware that your labor in the Lord is not futile [it is never wasted or to no purpose]." (1 Corinthians 15:57-58) I am thankful for having the victory in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. I am thankful for steadfastness and the ability (through the power of the Holy Spirit) to be immovable and always abounding in God's work so that it will not be in vain. I am thankful that I serve a mighty God. Join our hostess, Laurie @ Women Taking A Stand . Even though this is my last Thanksgiving Post, I will not cease to give thanks to my almighty and powerful God. Thanksgiving Holiday may only comes once a year. However, we should always and continue to give thank...

Thanksgiving Post #14 & Word-Filled Wednesday

"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved." (John 3:16-17) I am thankful for God's love. Because of His Love, I am save, free from sin, and will live and not die. Everlasting life is part of my salvation benefits. I thank you God in the name of your precious Son's name Jesus!!! Hallelujah!! "My heart will sing no other name. Jesus!! Jesus!!" Hosted By: Amydeanne @ The 160 Acre Woods Glitter Graphics

"Sing praise to the LORD, you saints of His, And give thanks at the remembrance of His holy name." (Psalm 30:4) "Rejoice in the LORD, you righteous, And give thanks at the remembrance of His holy name." (Psalm 97:12) "...For You alone are holy. For all nations shall come and worship before You,..." (Revelation 15:4) I am thankful for my church and our choir. I love singing on the choir. It's such an awesome and glorious experience. When you are able to praise and worship God on a corporate level, you can feel God's Holy Presence fill the room in a way that's majestic. It's almost like Disney World. You have to experience it for yourself. The video above is our choir singing this past weekend. It was a spectacular service. One of the songs we sang was, "Lord, You Holy!". The words to the song describe everything who God is and more. I am thankful for all that God is and bless to have an opportunity as well as the freedom to experie...

"Let them sacrifice the sacrifices of thanksgiving, And declare His works with rejoicing." (Psalm 107:22) "But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you." (John 14:26) I am thankful for Jesus carrying out God's plan so that we can have the Holy Spirit living on the inside of us. Our Comforter. Our Helper. Our Guidance. That teaches all things!! We need the Holy Spirit. I thank God in the name of Jesus because He knew the law would not be enough for us to live the God kind of life He intended for us to live. All praise and All Honor belong to You!!! Glitter Graphics

"Offer to God thanksgiving, And pay your vows to the Most High." (Psalm 50:14) "Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid." (John 14:27) I am thankful for God's peace. You know...the kind of peace that surpasses all understanding. When I am out sorts within myself or when my mind jumps from one thought to another, I can pray to God for peace. Peace in my spirit. A peace of mind. He is my peace and worship Him!!! Thank you Jesus!!! Glitter Graphics

"That I may proclaim with the voice of thanksgiving, And tell of all Your wondrous works." (Psalm 26:7) I am thankful for Fridays. I love that after a long work, I can relax on Friday. I can just put my feet up and say, "Awwwww!!" And the best part is I can sleep in a little later on Saturday. (That is....if I don't have any early morning plans.) Blessings!!! Glitter Graphics

"Therefore I will give thanks to You, O LORD, among the Gentiles, And sing praises to Your name." (2 Samuel 22:50) I am thankful for technology. I love that I can blog, email, or even stay in touch with my family and friends via facebook. Because of technology such as internet, I can talk to people hundreds to thousands of miles away, without running my phone bill up sky high. It's amazing how technology has evolve. And I thank God!! Using it in a right way, technology can be use to spread to gospel of Jesus Christ, which is such a blessing!! Glitter Graphics

Thanksgiving Post #6 & Word-Filled Wednesday

Image
"Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God;" (Philippians 4:6) I am thankful that I don't have to worry or be anxious for anything. I just have to give it to God in the mighty name of Jesus by prayer and supplication along with thanksgiving. And He will take care of the rest. Hallelujah and Amen!!! "So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live in him, rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness." (Colossians 2:6-7) (NIV) "...Let there be thankfulness to God." (Ephesian 5:4) (NLT) "Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God." (Colossians 3:16) (ESV) I am thankful that God is a healer. These past couple of days I was under the weather with flu/virus like symptoms. I couldn't really eat anything besides saltine crackers. However, I am much better now. In Jesus' name, I thank God for my healing. I live and move and have my being in Him!! Hallelujah and Amen!!! Twitter Background

"Amen! Blessing and glory and wisdom, Thanksgiving and honor and power and might, Be to our God forever and ever. Amen." (Revelation 7:12) "We give You thanks, O Lord God Almighty, The One who is and who was and who is to come, Because You have taken Your great power and reigned." (Revelation 11:17) I am thankful for my washer and dryer. It's a blessing that I can wash and dry clothes in the comfort of my home. I don't have to haul baskets of clothes (and quarters) to the laundromat. I don't have to wait my turn to use a dryer that takes almost $2 - $4 just to dry one load of clothes. In everything, I give God the praise in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen and Hallelujah!!! Easter Graphics

"And when you offer a sacrifice of thanksgiving to the LORD, offer it of your own free will." (Leviticus 22:29) "For in the days of David and Asaph of old there were chiefs of the singers, and songs of praise and thanksgiving to God." (Nehemiah 12:46) "I will praise the name of God with a song, And will magnify Him with thanksgiving." (Psalm 69:30) Many countries have to hide the fact that they are a Christian. I am thankful that I have the freedom worship and praise God. I don't have be undercover or watch my back. It's my free will choice to give the Lord Most High a sacrifice of Thanksgiving and Praise eveyday. In Jesus' name, I let out shouts of joy and thanksgiving!! "In your freedom I will live!! In Your freedom I will live!! I offer devotion!! I offer devotion!!" Free Myspace Comments

"Oh, give thanks to the LORD, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever." (Psalm 118:29) "Surely the righteous shall give thanks to Your name; The upright shall dwell in Your presence." (Psalm 140:13) I give thanks for waking up in a warm and cozy house this morning. I pray that things I may take for granted I won't anymore; And would always remember to give thanks to the Lord. His mercy, His Love, His kindness endure forever and ever. Twitter Background

"We give thanks to You, O God, we give thanks! For Your wondrous works declare that Your name is near." (Psalm 75:1) "It is good to give thanks to the LORD, And to sing praises to Your name, O Most High."(Psalm 92:1) "Rejoice in the LORD, you righteous, And give thanks at the remembrance of His holy name."(Psalm 97:12) I love Thanksgiving!! Everyday should be Thanksgiving - Giving Thanks to our Most High God for sacrificing His Son Jesus so that we may live. Giving Thanks to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for dying on the cross so that we may have a Comforter, a Helper. Just like Psalm 92:1 says, "It is good to give thanks to the LORD, And to sing praises to Your name, O Most High." Each day give thanks to the Lord for everything He has done and everything He is about to do!!! Twitter Backgrounds
