There are moments in life when everything feels cluttered, our schedules, our thoughts, our hearts. We find ourselves chasing after things: success, validation, dreams, etc. Until we realize, we have drifted far away from the very One our soul truly desires.  Cody Carnes' song “Nothing Else”  is about the importance of prioritizing a relationship with God above all else, even above the blessings and gifts He provides. It emphasizes a shift in focus from seeking the blessings from the hands of God to pursuing His heart (His presence). Quench Your Thirst Thursday ~ My Life, My Love, My All

Kirk Franklin’s powerful worship song  "My Life, My Love, My All," expresses the heart’s deepest cry for Jesus.  It’s a declaration of complete devotion. “My hands were made to worship You;  My heart, my King, it beats for You;  Oh Lamb so true, I surrender to You;  My life (I give You), my love (I give You), my all” These opening lines immediately bring to mind Romans 12:1 (NKJV) : “I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies  of God,  that you present your bodies a living sacrifice,  holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service.” Our hands, which are symbols of our actions and work, were made for worship.
