I woke up this morning with great joy in my heart. It felt so great. I feel so free almost like a kite soaring up into the clouds. It's a blessing to experience such a feeling. Describing what I feel right now won't exactly do it any justice. If you ever experience God's great joy, then you know where I am coming from.
There are times we wake up in a not-so good mood (that bah-humbug attitude). We become cranky, grumpy, irritable, especially if we haven't had that first cup of coffee yet. When someone says, "Good Morning!" with a smile, our response maybe more or less..."Yeah, whatever, speak for yourself." But hey that's nothing to feel or be ashame of. Thats who we are......human. Because you don't want them draining all of your positive and joyous energy until you begin feeling down or pessimistic like them.
Remember, the joy that we have the world didn't give it and the world can not take it away.
"I have told you this so that you will be filled

"You will show me the path of life;
"Be glad in the LORD and rejoice,

Toia,
Isn't it great when God releases this joy to completely overflow in us. I had this feeling the other day and was just downright silly.
Love those splashes from God.

Reminds me of the kids song we sing in SONday school "I've got the joy, joy, joy, joy down in my heart." :D Next verse "And if the devil doesn't like it he can sit on a tack." :D
