It's Day #6 of Designer's Original 30 Day Give Thanks Challenge. Today I am thankful for the Bible or what some people like to call it (Basic Instructions Before Leaving Earth). I love that God had David, Paul, and etc. to write letters, poems, through the inspiration and power of the Holy Spirit. God knew we would need a manual, a guide book, to help us through our everyday lives.
If you want to know more about marriages, you can go to the book. If you want to know more about Jesus, you can go to the Book. If you want know how to live a life pleasing in His sight, you can go to the Book. If you need joy, peace, love, hope, you can go to the Book. The Word of God lights the path in the way He wants us to go. It's a map to our true destination. "Your word is a lamp to guide my feet and a light for my path," (Psalm 119:105). I am forever thankful for His living and written word.
