Welcome to the family of God!
Accepting Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior is the beginning of a lifelong journey of faith, love, and service. It brings you into a personal relationship with God and offers the promise of eternal life.
Remember, you are not alone on this journey. God is with you, and you have a community of believers to support you. After receiving salvation in Jesus Christ, here are the next important steps to take:

* Join a Church Community:
Become part of a local bible based church to worship, fellowship with other
believers, and receive teaching and support.
"And let us consider [thoughtfully] how we may
encourage one another to love and to do good deeds,
not forsaking our meeting together [as believers for
worship and instruction], as is the habit of some, but
encouraging one another; and all the more [faithfully]
as you see the day [of Christ’s return] approaching."
(Hebrews 10:24-25) amp
* Baptism:
Baptism is an outward expression of an inward change, symbolizing the
believer's identification with the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
"Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing
them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the
Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have
commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the
very end of the age.” (Matthew 28:19-20) niv
* Regular Prayer:
Develop a habit of regular prayer to communicate with God, seek guidance,
express gratitude, and grow in your relationship with Him.
"Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and
supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made
known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all
understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through
Christ Jesus." (Philippians 4:6-7) nkjv
* Study the Bible:
Consistently read and study the Bible to understand God's Word, learn His
will, and apply biblical principles to your life.
"All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is
profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for
instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may
be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work."
(2 Timothy 3:16-17) nkjv
We recommend starting with the Book of John (one of the four Gospels). Reading the Book of John will give you a great glimpse of the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus.
Note: If you do not own a bible, buy a study bible in a translation that is easy for you to understand. Click HERE to see my personal List of Bible Study Tools and Resources that I used to help me dig a little deeper in God's Word.
* Join a Small Group At Your Local Bible Based Church:
Join a small group to help you grow in your faith and understand the
Word of God. Do life together with other believers in Christ.
"As iron sharpens iron, so a friend sharpens a friend."
