"An acorn can grow into an oak tree, but it cannot become a rose bush. You will always be you — a growing, healthy you or a languishing you — but God did not create you to be anybody else. He pre-wired your temperament. He determined your natural gifts and talents. He made you to feel certain passions and desires. He planned your body and mind. Your uniqueness is God-designed." - John Ortberg
Hi Toia, Thanks so much for stopping by my blog, your WFW picture and scripture is beautiful ! You look like a girl I taught in school, I taught her in 4th grade, she is now a nurse, hard for me to believe ! I also saw Grease is one of your favorite movies, mine also ! Thanks again for sharing Gods word and rejoicing in his love !
Oh what a wonderful reminder. None of us are perfect. We are all in need of the saving grace provided only by Jesus Christ. I am so very thankful for that grace. Thank you for this beautiful post! Happy WFW!
Wow, I haven't been by 160acrewoods in a long time. Great post! I have a couple of awards for you to swing by and pick up. Finally got them posted after several attemps. Had something hung up in memory. :( But all is well.
In our church we do Bible Study for each service and we just spent over a year on Romans. Wow! I've always loved Romans, but this was a nice pull back into that thinking.

Bless you for sharing this.
That's a nice pic and verse! I pictured myself a weed when Christ found me, and became a beautiful flower only by His grace. Glory to God! God bless.
