Firm means not subject to change or revision, steady, not easily moved or disturbed, steadfast
When you build your principles and center your life around God and His Word, you are establishing a firm, solid, and steadfast foundation. A firm foundation in Christ allows you to be steadfast and immovable. It also allows you not to be easily moved by the cares of the world.
Most importantly, a firm foundation gives you the strength and support to weather storms that try to steer you off course from God's pre-planned destiny for your life and to stand against every principalities, wiles, and scheme from the devil.
I think most people love to say T.G.I.F (Thank God It's Friday) because they are done with their week, done with adulting for a brief moment, and dealing with people in general who may have contributed to a stressful week. After all of that, you are ready for the weekend....baby!! Woo Whoo!!
As you prepare for the weekend, allow firm foundation Friday to encourage to stay focus on the kingdom of God, to not grow weary while doing good, to keep the faith, to respond accordingly instead of reacting to speed bumps in your life, and stand firm without compromising who you are and who God has called you to be in Him no matter how your week goes, especially if it's not a great one and you are at your wit's end,
"Therefore, my beloved brothers and sisters, be steadfast, immovable, always excelling in the work of the Lord [always doing your best and doing more than is needed], being continually aware that your labor [even to the point of exhaustion] in the Lord is not futile nor wasted [it is never without purpose]." (1 Corinthians 15:58).
