Thanks Giving Thursday Introduction

“Amen! Blessing and glory and wisdom,

 Thanksgiving and honor and power and might 

be to our God forever and ever. Amen.” 

(Revelation 7:12).

It's always good to give thanks for everything every day.  Giving thanks to our Lord and Father in the name of Jesus shows our appreciation and gratefulness for the things God has done and what He has promised us to do.

We should also just give thanks to the Lord because He is good and His mercy endures forever.  Thanks Giving Thursday focuses on being thankful for at least one thing each week.  So, it will take your mind off the bad (if there's anything) and put on the good things in life such as food to eat.

"I will praise You, O Lord, with my whole heart;

I will tell of all Your marvelous works."

"Oh, give thanks to the Lord, for He is good!

For His mercy endures forever."

 (Psalm 106:1)

"Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, 

And into His courts with praise.

 Be thankful to Him, and bless His name."

 (Psalm 100:4)
