"For we are His workmanship [His own masterwork, a work of art], created in Christ Jesus [reborn from above—spiritually transformed, renewed, ready to be used] for good works, which God prepared [for us] beforehand [taking paths which He set] so that we would walk in them [living the good life which He prearranged and made ready for us]." (Ephesians 2:10 amp)
Masterpiece - a work of outstanding artistry, skill, or workmanship; a work done with extraordinary skill
Workmanship - something effected, made, or produced
"For you are a holy people to the Lord your God; the Lord your God has chosen you to be a people for Himself, a special treasure above all the peoples on the face of the earth." (Deuteronomy 7:6)
Special - distinguished, unique, set apart, designed for a particular purpose
Knowing who you are in Christ builds confidence, self-esteem, and self-worth. In order to grow in Godliness, it is important that you understand who you are in Christ as well as realize how valuable you are to the Creator, our Designer.
We are a Designer's Original. We are God's special treasures, His priceless jewels, a work of art, His poem. We are designed for a particular purpose. But if you would like to understand your purpose or even prepare for it, you must first be in a place of maturity, a willingness to grow and develop.
We can and we will Grow in Godliness together.
