Let's get started. 😊

In Part 5 of this series, we will discuss being free to follow Jesus and going forth in doing the work God has called you to do.

*Before, you can truly reap the benefits of committing your ways and thoughts to God as well as experience the joy and freedom of living a life worthy of Him, you must accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior in your heart.

"If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved." (Romans 10:9)    4

COMMIT TO FOLLOW

*Being a born again Christian means you are free to follow Jesus without restraint, bondage, and condemnation.

"There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death."  (Romans 8:1-2)  4

condemnation [Greek word: katakrima; Strong's# 2631] - the expression
of strong disapproval; the action of condemning someone
                        to a punishment; sentencing

made free [Greek word: eleutheroo; Strong's# 1659] - to liberate,
                        to acquit; set free; deliver

* Jesus has set us free from the dominion of sin.

*Sin has a way of enslaving us, controlling us, dominating us, dictating our actions.

* Jesus can free us from the slavery that keeps from becoming the person God created to be.  He can break its power over our life.

*In Christ, we are no longer under the sentence of the law but empowered by the Spirit to live for Christ.
