For today's episode of Wonderful Word Wednesday, we are going to focus on Love.
"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life."
Loved - Strong's#25: Greek word~agapaō (pronounced ag-ap-ah'-o); unconditionally love, love by choice and by an act of will. This kind of love will never seek anything but the highest good for fellow mankind.
Special note: In John 3:16, God's love made manifest in an infinitely glorious manner. God's love is not static or self-centered. It reaches out and draws others in. Here God sets the pattern of true love, the basis for all love relationships - when you love someone dearly, you are willing to give freely to the point of self-sacrifice.
